Ok, that Saw disc is pretty damn cool. You should meet my friend Shane. He’s an exploitation nut. He’s recently found 2 DVD sets that are nothing but drive in horror trailers from the 60s to 80s grouped by genre (Women in prison films, blaxploitation films etc).
Sounds great! I always keep an eye out for any of those Grindhouse bundle packs.
For the most part the films are truly truly awful, but you’ll always get at least one gem of a scene so bizarre it makes it all worth while.
And really, when you have a bunch of snarky friends and alcohol, you don’t necessarily want a GOOD film. Example being last time i went to a bad movie night (a month or so ago) we watched a bunch of trailers, Dead Heat.. and then more trailers. McBain was also on the table but we’ll be saving that for another time.
